For those who may not know there is not just one main type of Irishdancing, there is three: Step dancing, Ceili dancing and Set dancing. I am an Irish Step Dancer. Step dancing is what you see on Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, but with solo dancers competing to championship level. Most dancers are children and teenagers, but you might still see the odd adult competing today.
